A digital marketplace that enables companies to sell goods and services online is known as an e-commerce website. It uses electronic transactions and frequently has components like online shopping carts, payment processing, and inventory control systems. Customers from all around the world can visit e-commerce websites, which can be run by small-business owners or by larger organizations (Duff, 2019).

Since customers may now shop online whenever they want, anywhere, the growth of e-commerce websites has completely changed how businesses interact with their clients. E-commerce websites have also aided companies in lowering operating expenses while boosting income (Hashim, 2019).
